I went to Long John Silver with the kids. They actually ate at the Taco Bell side and had "Grilled Cheese Tacos" or as the gringos call them, cheese quesadillas. Rebecca ate something better I'm sure at my sister's Mary Kay party.

Rebecca made cranberry peach ham sandwiches with apple slices on top and spinach salads. I put too much salad dressing on the salad so I could only eat a little bit of it. The sandwich was pretty good. The ham was cooked with cranberries and peaches, so it just had a little bit of their flavor.

Rebecca had something for nice smelling in the crockpot, but it was not going to be done in time. So we went to McDonald's instead. Which means I'll have some really nice smelling left overs for dinner.

Rebecca made bow tie pasta for dinner. It was so popular both of the kids willingly left watching Blue's Clues to come for dinner, and I packed it up right away so I can eat it for lunch.

I cooked tonight. I made spaghetti noodles with some roasted red pepper oil type of sauce. The sauce was pretty weak, so I added BBQ sauce to my noodles. Pretty interesting. Jack and Amelia probably ate more noodles than I did. I took them a while to get starting, but by the end they were sharing the big serving bowl and shoveling forkfuls into their mouths.

We went to Grandma V's house for her birthday and ordered pizza. Mmmm, pizza.

Rebecca had a play date with 5 moms and 9 kids. I spent the day watching Iowa lost at Northwestern. Neither one of us felt like cooking, so we went to Wendy's.

We had dinner at my parent's house tonight for my sister's birthday. She asked for tacos. Rebecca made chocolate cupcakes for dessert.

We had BLT's tonight. It just proves that Rebecca really loves me since she hates bacon. Come to find out, the kids are not willing to try bacon yet either. At least they enjoy poking holes in the bread and playing peek-a-boo through them.

I went out with my friend tonight and when I got back home I played on the internet until late. I ended up eating some fishsticks. See what happens when I cook.

Rebecca made tuna burgers on toasted buns and roasted red pepper black bean soup. The tuna burgers are growing on me. I had a childhood hatred of tuna before my fish allergies started. Now that I can eat fish again, I'm slowly starting to appreciate tuna. I'm a big fan of the cold tuna salad that you spread on crackers. Cooked tuna burgers are such a different texture that it's taken a couple tries to get used to it. Now that I am, I like these little burgers. I had to stay late for work so by the time I got home it was time to eat. After a 10 hour day and an hour drive home, I did not really have time to shake the work funk until after putting the kids to bed.

We ordered bake at home Papa Murphy's pizza and ate with the kids and my parents while handing out candy.
